Urban Sweets was founded by Pastry Chef, Eva Simons.
Eva first discovered her passion for baking at age 10 when she bought a baking book by Julia Child and spent the next 3 months making every recipe from cover to cover. This passion did not transform into a career until after college, when Eva attended Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Following training, Eva spent time interning at Dessert Shops, Restaurants, and with Wedding Cake Designers.
Her experiences have allowed her to develop her own unique style in the baking industry.
Eva then returned home to Los Angeles to establish Urban Sweets. A specialty cake shop that blends her L.A. roots with her New York training.

Urban Sweets specializes in Wedding and Party cakes. We create both traditional tiered cakes as well as sculpted designs.
